Before becoming the home of the First National Bank in 1926, this building housed hardware and implement businesses in its front area and a variety of businesses along its side facing 9th Street, including the Burwell Hotel. The location has also been home to two dentist offices and a Christian book store before becoming the law offices of Weeks & Brucker in 1999.
Phil Whitehouse (Evan Mattinson)
Phil Whitehouse has lived in Gibson City for 11 years, after marrying the former Megan Bennett. The couple has three children, ranging in age from 3 years to 8 years. He and his wife are both employed at State Farm in Bloomington. Phil serves as vice-president of the GCMS school board in addition to enjoying local community theater productions.
